The Borough Administrator acts as the Chief Administrative Officer of the Borough and is directly responsible to the Mayor and Borough Council for the proper and efficient administration of the affairs of the Borough. The Borough Administrator oversees the day-to-day operations of the Borough. All department heads report to them.

The duties of the Administrator include:

  • Oversight of all day-to-day operations
  • Compliance with purchasing practices, administrative procedures, and organization structure
  • Preparation of annual operating and capital budgets
  • Supervision of human resources, labor relations and benefit administration
  • Management of capital projects
  • Oversight of general and liability insurance
  • Management of grants
  • Responding to concerns of residents
