Prior to joining Council, her volunteer efforts have reflected her level of commitment to our community. Susie was an active grass roots organizer and advocate against the charter school applications in Highland Park, and has worked with local and state officials to help pass resolutions and legislation for local control in the approval process and greater transparency of charter schools. She has been an active member and organizer with Save Our Schools NJ.

Susie's professional background is as a Client Relationship Manager and Project Manager in Financial Services for more than 20 years. Her clients have included small businesses much like those that make up our vital downtown business district.

Her parents emigrated from Hungary in 1956, and moved to Highland Park when she was a child. Both Susie and her husband are graduates of Highland Park High School. About 10 years ago, she returned to Highland Park from New York City, to raise a family. Susie is the mother of twins attending Irving Primary School.
