The Borough of Highland Park takes note of NJ Governor Mikie Sherrill's new Executive Order, #12, signed February 12th, in which she implemented three measures to help protect NJ citizens from actions by ICE agents that may violate the law or put NJ citizens in danger.
The executive order prohibits ICE agents from entering, accessing, or using nonpublic areas of NJ State property for their operations, unless they have a judicial warrant.
Additionally, the executive order announces the launch of an online portal for NJ residents to report actions by ICE agents that appear to violate the law. The portal can be accessed at
