Mayor Elsie Foster,
Council President Matthew Hersh, and the Borough Council thank our New Jersey State Government representatives - Senator
Patrick Diegnan,
Assemblyman Robert Karabinchak, and Assemblyman Sterley Stanley - who arranged for $330,000 to be included in the NJ State FY 2024 budget for renovations to the Highland Park Community Center.
According to
Tap Into Edison, on July 7th: “The state funding will be used to replace the roof, which is original to the
30-year-old building, and to renovate the bathrooms, which have never been upgraded. The improvements will augment new flooring and fresh paint throughout the community center, projects the borough has slated for later this year.”
