Summer Camp Head Counselors are responsible for creating a fun, safe environment for all campers by overseeing their participation in a variety of activities and supporting Camp Counselors and Counselors-In-Training. Camp operates rain or shine so counselors must be prepared for both outdoor and indoor camp settings. Counselors are expected to participate with and supervise campers in all activities, including lunch.

Summer Camp runs from Monday – Friday, July 6, 2026 – August 14, 2026; 8:15 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.

WORK RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and lead at least three new activities per week
- Engage campers in daily planned activities
- Supervise children as they move from different activities
- Assist Head Counselors and Activity Leaders with set-up and clean-up of activities
- Maintain accurate camper lists, group information, and daily schedules
- Understand camper behaviors and respond appropriately
- Be vigilant and follow all safety guidelines provided by the camp
- Participate in all staff trainings and meetings

REQUIREMENTS:
- Age 18+
- Experience in summer camp, recreation, or childcare environment preferred
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to work as a member of a team
