The event will also feature remarks by Highland Park Mayor Elsie Foster (a native of Jamaica) and Highland Park Human Relations Commission Chair Pauline Devonish (a native of Barbados). Adrian O. Mapp is a dedicated public servant, a seasoned financial expert, and a progressive leader who has served as the Mayor of Plainfield, New Jersey, since 2014. Under his leadership, the city has undergone a remarkable transformation, emerging as a model of economic revitalization, fiscal responsibility, and social equity.
