Get free repairs, grab a free coffee (bring a&nbsp;<strong>reusable mug</strong>, please), and practice sustainability with us!</p><p><strong>What’s a Repair Cafe?</strong></p><p>Repair Cafes are community-organized events where skilled volunteers are available to make small repairs to household items. The repairs extend the life of the items and keep them out of landfills. You are welcome to have some free coffee or tea while you’re waiting for your repair to be completed. Snacks will also be available.<strong>&nbsp;And in the spirit of sustainability and waste reduction, we are asking people to bring their own mugs</strong>&nbsp;rather than having throwaway cups.</p><p><strong>What Repairs Will Be Available?</strong></p><p>Repair specialties that will be available at our first-ever Repair Cafe include the following:</p><ul>    <li>Sewing and mending of fabrics and textiles</li>    <li>Woodworking</li>    <li>Jewelry repair</li>    <li>Electrical repair of small appliances like lamps and toasters</li>    <li>Bicycle repairs</li>    <li>Guitar repairs and tune-ups</li>    <li>Power tools</li>    <li>Miscellaneous repairs of mechanically broken items</li></ul><p><em>Please note: this event is first-come, first-served, with a limit of two items per person.</em></p><p><strong>Additional questions?&nbsp;</strong>Reach out to&nbsp;<a href="mailto:shp@hpboro.com?subject=&amp;body=" target="_blank"><b>shp@hpboro.com</b></a>.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
