Get ready for the upcoming school year with the Highland Park Police Department's Back to School Giveaway & Backpack Decorating event! Join the community at the HP Community Center on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM for an afternoon of fun, creativity, and preparation. The first 48 children will receive a FREE backpack and school supply giveaway. Kids can stick around to decorate their brand-new giveaway bag or bring a favorite backpack from home to customize.
